Works Exhibited
Bruce is mostly self-taught out of personal obsession but his mother is a RISD/Harvard trained art educator who steeped him in drawing and painting the figure from birth, while his father was an IBM executive who taught him software. His formal art education consisted of a summer program at Atlanta College of Art in 1981 and an Atelier program at Fine Artists Workshop for a year in 2011. He has spent a career in software engineering and architecture consulting until 2009, when he shifted his focus to pursuing a fine art career.
Bruce’s lenticular work is sold in galleries in New Orleans, Seattle, and Las Vegas. He photographs layered, abstract, manipulated, figurative photo-montage and print the result as lenticulars. His encaustic multi-media work is hanging in public venues, currently in Greensboro, North Carolina.
